Royalty Fee: £1000
The successful candidate will be required to provide high quality leadership on the development and delivery of the Council’s Children’s services including ensuring the Council’s statutory duties are met and outcomes for children and young people from birth to 25 years improve.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the Council’s Children and Families plan and associated strategies.
The successful candidate will form part of the Head of Services Management team to ensure that the quality of services and outcomes for children and families in Knowsley are at least good.
The successful candidate will maintain key relationships with council officers, elected members, Clinical Commissioning Groups, service users, carers and families as well as partners in external organisations as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- improvement of outcomes across Knowsley and the implementation of the council’s statutory duties with key responsibility for the following services:
- Fostering
- Short Breaks
- Oasis
- Children’s Homes
- AIM
- YOS
- Children Looked After
- Care Leavers
